Donna Lee Streetman

Donna Lee Streetman, age 88 of Hiawassee, GA went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 30, 2023. Donna was born in Fort Meade, Florida on November 6, 1934. As a child she moved to Hillsborough County, Florida and her last 21 years a resident of Hiawassee, GA. She was a graduate of Brandon High School in Brandon, FL and served as a clerk and private secretary for Hillsborough County Schools and later the Hillsborough County Road Department. Donna was a member of Transforming Life Ministries in Plant City, FL for 48 years and then another 21 years of North Mount Zion Church of God in Hiawassee, Ga.

She had a tremendous love for God, her family and friends. She always had a smile and was full of life. Her daily prayer life and Bible study was consistent, always praying for others. She never met a stranger and was a friend to countless individuals. She enjoyed gardening, fellowship with others, sightseeing, overnight trips, and bird watching.

Survivors include her sweetheart and husband of 69 years Calvin Streetman of Hiawassee, GA and Lithia, FL; her children Brad Streetman (LeeAnn) of Taylors, SC and Janice Streetman of Dover, FL; 4 grandchildren Mike Streetman, II, Esther Myers, Ryan Patterson and Matthew Streetman and 10 great grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters; Bill Hood (Evelyn) of Lithia, FL, sister Ruthie Rogers (Britt) of Valdosta, GA. Carl Bush (Kathy) of Callaway, FL, and Daniel Bush (Renee) of Gainesville, FL. Preceded her in death was son Mike Streetman of Lithia, FL, granddaughter, April Streetman of Lithia, FL, sister Gwen Spalding (Joe) of Lynn Haven, FL., David Bush of Panama City, FL, and Thomas Bush of Pensacola, FL.

Funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Hopewell Funeral Home 6005 S. County Rd 39, Plant City, FL 33567 with the Reverend Jim Rodriguez officiating. The family will begin receiving friends at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Assembly of God Cemetery 7051 Turkey Creek Rd, Plant City, FL 33567.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be in Hiwassee, GA at a later date.
