Diane Siecinski, 93, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away on June 16, 2026. Born on March 14, 1933, in Shorewood, Wisconsin, Diane lived a life marked by courage, love of family, and an extraordinary devotion to the people and passions she held dear.

From her earliest days on the high school stage to her years as a drama major at the University of Florida, Diane's soul was always fed by the arts. That love never faded. Throughout her life, she found endless joy, wonder, and inspiration in ballets, concerts, and live theater. Whether she was settling into a velvet seat before the curtain rose or decorating her home with her signature creative flair, Diane brought beauty and warmth to everything she touched.

Yet the true masterpiece of her life was her selfless dedication to others. Diane poured her heart into a lifetime of volunteering, first as a devoted Girl Scout Troop Leader, then as a guiding voice on local Community Boards. Her most cherished chapter of service came at the Unique Boutique of the Women's Resource Center in Bradenton, Florida. It was there, through the volunteer work she was most proud of, that her love for community and her generous spirit truly shone the brightest. She was courageously strong, a three-time cancer survivor and goal-oriented, the kind of woman who set her mind to something and saw it through, all while making you laugh along the way.

Beyond her community work, Diane treasured time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved nothing more than an ocean cruise, always ready for the next adventure on the open water.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Matthew C. Siecinski, of twenty years, and is survived by her son, Rick Hand; her daughter, Robin Mendelson; her granddaughters, Kayla and Lauren Hand; her grandsons, Brendon, Colten, and Aiden Mendelson; great-grandsons, Luca and Theodore; and many family and friends whose lives she enriched immeasurably.

Above all, Diane loved God and her family with her whole heart. Her faith was the foundation of everything she did, and it carried her through every season of life with grace and strength. Her family finds comfort in the words of Isaiah 40:31: "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."

A celebration of life will be held in Colorado at a future date to be determined. Details will be shared with family and friends as plans are finalized.
