Davis L Sutton

Mr. Davis Lee Sutton, age 61 of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Wednesday, August 03, 2011 following a period of declining health. He was born to the late Cicero and Dovie (Berrong) Sutton on August 23, 1949 in Hiawassee, GA. He was preceded in death by R.D. Sutton, Jr. Sutton Everett Sutton Ray Sutton Dennis Sutton and Mary Ann Bradley. He is survived by brothers Jerry Sutton, of Hiawassee, GA; Merle Sutton, of Hiawassee, GA; Paul Sutton, of Lula, GA Morris Sutton, of Hiawassee, GA; sisters, Rose Marie Stroud, of Hiawassee, GA; Charlene McDowell, of Hayesville, NC; and a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were Friday, August 05, 2011 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Interment was in Burch cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asked donations and contributions be made to Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, P.O. Box 70, Hiawassee, GA 30546 to offset funeral expenses.
