Darrell Algot Halling

Darrell Algot Halling, 76, of Warne passed away Monday, January 5th after his long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born in Maine and has been a native of North Carolina since 2000. He was an avid bowler who also enjoyed restoring American muscle cars. He was a member of the Sheperd of the Mountain Church in Murphy. He is survived by his wife Nancy of 53 years. His three children; Valerie, Kim and Karl. He leaves 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by grandchild, Erin and sister, Martha Penfold. Darrell was a great man who believed in family and faith. He will be dearly missed. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
