Charles Leon McClure

Charles Leon McClure, age 79, of Lilburn, GA passed away Sunday, May 29th, 2016 following a brief illness. He was born to the late Robert Charlsey "Chuck" 1909 - 2001 and Ruby Ollie Ann (Hughes) McClure 1910 - 1996 on January 7, 1937 in Young Harris, Georgia. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Conner McClure; son, Charles McClure of Young Harris, Georgia and step-son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Livvy Armithee of Augusta, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his brother Robert Howard McClure April 04, 1930 - May 1995. The family received friends on Thursday, June 2, 2016 form 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with services following at 1:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home in Hiawassee, GA with Rev. Jimmy Rogers officiating. Interment followed at Old Union Cemetery, GA. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
