Catherine M. Hewitt

Ms Catherine (Cathy) M. Hewitt, age 59, of Hiawassee, Ga passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at her home. She was born in November 5, 1962 in Jacksonville Florida to late Edward and Joyce Hewitt. Cathy was of the Baptist faith. She was a funny; caring; loving; and outgoing person.
She will be most remembered for her love of the elderly; animals; and her friends. Cathy was full of life and love and never let you leave without saying I love you. She is preceeded in death by her parents Edward Hewitt Sr. and Joyce E. Hewitt She is survived by her brother Edward Hewitt Jr, and sister Elizabeth L. Hewitt all of Jacksonville, Florida; her adopted mountain families; Henry and Dana Jenkins, HD and Theresa Parker, along with her girls as she called them, Jaylen and Kiley Parker, and Tracy Swanson; along with a host for friends. The family wishes to acknowledge the Ingles Deli of Hiawassee, Employees at Hardee's; Bethel Baptist Church of Young Harris, GA and the many friends who donated for her services. Cathy will be deeply missed. A private graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at 2:00pm at Pine Grove Cemetery on Scataway Road.
