Brenda Ellen Hoyt

Brenda Ellen Hoyt, age 64, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 after a brief illness. Brenda was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Mr. And Mrs. Hearl Lee and Ethel (McGaskey) Cope on December 10, 1961. She was best known as "The Bird Lady"; training and raising many birds throughout her life. She was a very creative and crafty lady who enjoyed wood and tile works. She also could be found gardening and making jewelry in her spare time.Brenda is preceded in death by her above mentioned parents; husband, James Hoyt; and sister, Sandra Lynn Cope. Autumn Teree Braxton, Ft Walton, FL; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Olivia and Randy Lee Powell, Bearden, AR; sister, Tammy Rebecca Duncan, Melvin, AL; grandchildren Chanterria Camille Scott, Christian Lamar Scott, and Angalina Catherine Braxton; Elana Nichole Scott, Autumn Rain Scott, great-grandchildren, Kassius Armani and Jessenia Ellyse Scott
