Billie Jo Goodwin

Mrs. Billie Jo Goodwin, age 56, of Hiawassee, GA passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2014 following a period of declining health. She was born to the late Billy and Rachel (Fowler) Forrester on December 23, 1957 in Atlanta, GA. She was a member of Bell Creek Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Forrester. She is survived by husband, Jerry Goodwin, of Hiawassee, GA; Teresa French, of Rockdale, GA; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Patricia Green, of Hiawassee, GA; brother, Tony Forrester, of Villa Rica, GA; four grandchildren, Dewayne Green, Austin Green, Corey Jones and Hannah Jones. A number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 02, 2014 at 2:00PM from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Trotter and Rev. Steve Whisisant officiating. Music was provided by Ryan Wilson. Pallbearers were: Jr. Goodwin, David Jarrard, James Goodwin, Jimmy Goodwin, Austin Green and David Goodwin. Interment was in Osborn cemetery. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
