Mrs. Bernice (Bee) R. Allen Weber passed away on February 12, 2008 at the Murphy Nursing Home in NC. She was born in Chicago, IL on October 08, 1915. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin C. and Emma Allen, sister, Evelyn, husband, Oliver G. Weber, daughter, Patricia G. Norman, grandson, Jason L. Aunspaugh. She lived in Elmhurst and Villa Park, IL and worked at Olswangs and as a local telephone operator. She moved with her family to Dunedin, FL in 1957. While living in Dunedin and Holiday, FL she worked at several retail stores including, Daniels, Colony Shop, Maas Brothers, Slimmers and Lauras. Mrs. Weber was a dorm mother at Young Harris College in GA from 1979-1981. She moved back to Young Harris, GA from Dunedin, FL in 2002 to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She loved to dance, play cards, shuffleboard and a good party. She cherished her many friends, deeply loved her family. She is survived by a brother, Walter (Bud) Allen, special niece, Evelyn Means, daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and Dick Aunspaugh, granddaughter, Dawn Curls, grandson, David Curls, great granddaughters, Danielle and Jasmine, great grandson, Mason, great-great granddaughter, Juliet, three sisters-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and their families and special life long friend, Florence Mueller. She was a member of Sharp Memorial United Methodist Church. Memorial gifts can be made to the Stephen's Ministry at Sharp Memorial UMC, P.O. Box 66, Young Harris, GA 30582. Very special thanks to the staff of Murphy Nursing Home, especially the nurses, certified nurses assistants and housekeeping staff in the Alzheimer's unit for their loving care and friendship. Mrs. Weber was cremated and a graveside service will be at a later date. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
