Barney Rice Pedigo

Mr. Barney Rice Pedigo, age 90 of Hiawassee, GA,  passed away on July 13, 2014 at
Chatuge Regional Nursing Home.  He was a member of McConnell Memorial Baptist
Church and a Mason in the Masonic Lodge for 77 years.
He was born to the late Elmore and Evalena Pedigo on September 17, 1942 in Bowling Green KY. He is survived by his wife, Betty Pedigo of Hiawassee, GA. One daughter and son-in-law
Sally and Michael McLeod, of Sumter, SC; a son and daughter-in-law, Barney Randall and Carol Pedigo of West Memphis, AR; three grandchildren, Jason Pedigo of Dallas, TX;
William Coons Jr of Statesboro, GA; and Julianne Elizabeth Coons of Woodstock, GA. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews, loving friends and family.
Barney is preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Shane Pedigo and a number of brothers
and sisters.
Funeral services will be held at McConnell Memorial Baptist on Thursday July 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM.  The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 16, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Banister Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations and contributions be made to: McConnell Memorial Building Fund. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
