Barbara Ruth Norman

Barbara Ruth Norman 89 years old born July 23,1936 in Miami Florida went to be with her Lord and Savior July 8,2026 Blairsville Georgia .

 She and her husband Richard who preceded her in death 2018 had 3 children: Lori Hill (Garland) Hiawassee, Sharyn Warren Hendersonville TN and Rick ( Sandra) Norman Waycross Ga., 6 grandchildren Stacia (Brian) Childress, Brandon Redding, Ryan (Gabrielle) Norman, Ricky (Cassie)Norman, Blake Norman, and Jared (Melody) Warren and great and great grandchildren. 

She and her husband were missionary church planters in Ninilchik, Sterling, Valdez, Bethel and Juneau Alaska. They also served their Lord in Oregon and Tennessee. She was an accomplished pianist and played for church services. Barbara was a faithful and devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church Hiawassee where she worshiped and served alongside her beloved husband, Richard, for many years. She was a blessing to her church family, and her life reflected a quiet strength, kindness, and genuine love for others. Her ministry also included mentoring younger women in the ministry and was always a listening ear and encourager. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
